UOI:
The students commenced the second line of inquiry, “How play has changed overtime?” wherein students conducted a survey in school to find about ‘how the toys that children play with change as they get older? The inquiry went further when guest speakers were invited to share how and what games they used to play when they were children. Later, students attempted a formative assessment, where they were given animal puppets, masks and various other materials and were asked to create stories using these materials. Thus their communication and presentation skills were enhanced.

Students were introduced to the symbol of addition ‘+’ and ‘=’ where they were divided into groups and practiced addition using manipulatives. Later on students associated picture of an apple with its respective number in their notebook and then added one to it. Students were also introduced to 3D shape ‘Sphere’. Post which they created the spherical shape using clay and illustrated different spherical shaped objects in their process journal.

Students inquired into Primary colours and observed how mixing two Primary colours can create a Secondary colour.
They also made a colour wheel containing Primary and Secondary colours in their sketchbooks.

Students carried out dot-dot activity on the laptop. Few enjoyed, few struggled and the rest learnt to join the dots using a mouse.

Reinforcement was done for CVC words with ‘o’ sound using different games.

Students were provoked to speak the name of instruments starting with some particular sounds & alphabets and then they were initiated into learning names of the instruments according to the alphabets.
They learnt the song "Hide and Seek" and some of them attempted to sing it individually on the mike.
