Going deeper into exploring the central idea, Students explored the tactile sense (sense of touch) by inquiring about the different textures and developed new vocabulary- smooth, rough, soft, hard silky, bumpy, coarse.
They also went for a nature walk and collected different things of varied textures and expressed their preferences.
Students worked in groups to identify different senses and pasted pictures and objects according to all the senses.
As weekend prep, students researched and collected data about taste preferences of their parents. This data was used to understand the concept of Venn diagram.
Students wrote number 1 in their notebooks and drew the quantity.

Introduction to phonic sound 's' was done through sand paper tracing and association with pictures on the smart board. Later to enhance their fine motor skill students made “s” sound using play dough.
Reinforcement of phonic sound ‘a’ was done. Later they sorted picture cards and associated them with letter ‘a’ and letter ‘o’. Students made line patterns in their notebooks.
In Hindi, students were introduced to Rango ke naam- peela, laal,hara,neela through a game.
Swar 'a' was reinforced through picture cards.
As a part of Early Year skill building programme students learnt how to work with:

On occasion of Janamashtami, Students inquired about krishna's favourite musical instrument-flute.
They understood that it is a wind instrument and also explored other instruments of same family in the music class.
