UOI:
Students continued to pursue the first line of inquiry - ‘Kinds of transport’ under their current TD theme ‘How we organize ourselves‘. Students inquired into the kinds of aeroplanes and their uses through a video. The inquiry was further strengthened when students learned about – How an aeroplane flies. They also learnt about the timeline of aeroplanes.
UOI was integrated with English where students inquired into the parts of an aeroplane – Cockpit, wing, turbine engine, fuselage, aileron, rudder and elevator through a puzzle cut-out of an aeroplane.

Students wrote numbers 11 and 12 in their notebook indicating their place value. They also sequenced numbers from 0-10 in their process journals.

Letter sound ‘g’ was introduced with picture cards. Students practiced writing ‘g’ on the slate and later the same in their process journals.

Reinforcement of Hindi swar “uu” was done through flashcards. Students recited some patriotic songs on the occasion of the Republic Day - “Nanha munna rahi hoon”, “Sabse pyara desh hamara”. They also learnt about the Republic Day through a power point presentation.
Circle Time: Students created a tricolour plane for reinforcement of colours, which helps in enhancement of their fine motor skills. As a part of Early Years skill building programme, students also learnt:
