Reaching the last leg of the Transdisciplinary theme, “Who we are” a summative task was conducted wherein students’ weight, height and foot span were taken and compared with the ones taken earlier to see change in their growth.
With the commencement of the new unit ‘Play’ under the Transdisciplinary theme “How we express ourselves”, students will learn about communication and how we can express our feelings and ideas through play. Also they will understand how play has changed overtime and role of toys in play.
Students enjoyed free play inside the class room, wherein all the toys were hidden from them. Instead, they were provided cardboard boxes of different sizes as they explored and played with them in various ways.

Reinforcement of ‘at’ and ‘an’ family words was done through a Pop-Corn game, where they picked a slip and read the words. They also read vowel ‘a’ CVC words.

Children practiced different type of exercises with hula hoops to develop their movement coordination and to strengthen their upper body part.

Students created various designs and patterns with oil pastels on the given sheets as the first step of creating their scratch art work.

The students learned to clap tap and do body movements along with various songs they have learned previously.
They practiced the vocal scales along with the metronome in three speeds. They also identified slow, medium and fast beats on the metronome. They presented the song-“here we go around the mulberry bush” in a group along with actions.
