Pre-field reflection on Rail Museum was undertaken by asking students to fill up a form by using their curiosity and imagination.
Students were taken on a field trip to the National Rail Museum which they thoroughly enjoyed and were subsequently full of queries and excitement.

Writing of ‘an’ family words was done through illustrations. They revised ‘at’ family words using large movable box (LMA).

Students were introduced to numeral ’17’ through place value activity. They further wrote the number 17 in their process journals and drew the quantities associated to it. Reinforcement of place value was done through manipulatives.
Formative assessment was done for 2D shapes in which students made some objects with the given 2D shape cut-outs.

The students practiced the scales in various octaves along with the Metronome.
They learnt a song “Here we go round the mulberry bush” along with actions and body movements, in order to improve coordination in a group. Students also learnt to sing the scales of ‘Happy Birthday’ song.
