Students inquired about land transport, they were shown different types of train tickets e.g. local train and passenger train tickets. Later they also compared the difference between a train ticket and a plane ticket.
Students inquired into magnetic properties of wheels and tracks by trying to understand magnetic and non-magnetic properties of materials. Later to enhance their understanding, they did an experiment on magnetic and non-magnetic materials.
Students were introduced to animal transport (bullock cart, horse carriages, mules, yak and camel) through power-point presentation and videos.
Formative assessment was also done through Take and Talk – ‘How transport has changed over time’.

Introduction of ‘at’ family words was done through Large Moveable Alphabet box.
Students practiced writing letters (a to z) using LMA box, where they placed the letters in the correct zones. Later they also wrote letters (a to z) in their process journals and drew the picture associated with it.
Revision of ‘at’ family CVC words was done where students were given the picture card, later they identified the object and wrote the words in their process journals.

Students were given options to choose their devices. Most preferred to explore their favourite educational app on the iPad and are learning to be independent to choose and swipe. A few students took to the laptop and had fun exploring various educational apps which helped them to progress well with their mouse movement and skills.

Students used the different geometrical shapes to create a transport of their choice. They also coloured their compositions using crayons and divided the background and foreground using different colours.

In order to develop their manipulative skills, students practised hopping, turning and bending techniques by doing different obstacle activities.

Students have been introduced to 'Arpeggio'. They practiced singing on scales along with Metronome. They modified their tempo according to the metronome beats as slow, fast and faster. They also learnt the song "Raindrops on roses".

To improve dexterity and stability, a combination of basic hand and feet positions on different type of music are being practiced along with the dance routine.
